`Ansi control codes' are used to give Opus some control over your
video monitor.
If you have `Ansi control codes' then this system will look prettier.
Your modem software must be able to handle those codes. Check to make
sure your communications software can emulate `Ansi' or `VT-100'.
If Opus tries to send the control codes to you without such support on
your end, you will see lots of junk on your monitor.
The answer you give here is not something that is totally permanent.
Opus has a CHANGE SETUP menu, and you can turn Ansi on/off there.
To SELECT Ansi control codes, type ...... Y
To REJECT Ansi control codes, type ...... N
